Comp stalls at 4:44am

This just started a few days ago, and I sure didn't do it on prupose, but every morning promptly at 4:44am the computer pauses.

It stays on, and X is still up, but i can't move the mouse, the sound is just a repeat of the fraction-of-the-second it was outputting at 4:44, and the numlock and caps-lock keys don't turn on/off the lights on the keyboard...

Any ideas?

What cron jobs kick off at that time on your system?

i can't check anything, because i can't move the mouse, or type anything...

any more ideas?
