Command or script to find out all files and director permission

Dear all,

I have searched more than 2 days but can not find out a clue. is there any way to find permission of all files and sub directories under / directory in linux ? Please help me.Thanks in advance.

how about an ls Recursive long listing of all files?
ls -Rla /
See the ls man page to refine its output.

R - list subdirectories recursively !!!!!!!!! This is relay shame to me. Thanks Evo2
