command line printer list


hi there,

i'm looking for a command that will output all the printers currently attached to my machine?

with a little bit of information, name, desctiptions maybe, something like that

lpstat -h localhost -p does the trick. Check out other options for lpstat (man lpstat) to get more advanced info.
