close window causes reboot

Anyone experienced this? And if so, any thoughts?

Recently, my system locked hard. I rebooted. Ever since, when I run the Gimp1.3, and go to close it out, my system instantly reboots.

I have a hard time believing that this is a Gimp problem. This never happened before. It's quite annoying, and I just haven't had time to investigate.

have you investigated syslogs or klogs?

Does it only happen on a particluar user? If so, delete the
.gimp-1.2
directory in thr home directory of the user the problem is happening with.

If that doesn't work then I suppose you could try recompiling it.

Deleting the .gimp-1.2 directory did it. Don't know why I didn't think of that!
