Clock Drift with Gnome Battery Applet?
 

I've noticed that my clock seems to be drifting (and getting weird readings) quite a bit lately. Looking online, I've found that this is most likely due to my gnome battery monitor applet. Can anyone confirm/deny this? I can't seem to 'cause' the drift: it's not continuous, it seems random. Also, anyone know of a fix for this?

I assume you mean the hardware clock?

How bad is the drift?

Would chrony or ntp get around the problem?
