CLI music player

About 2 months ago I was flipping through a couple Linux magazines at borders (I had 2 and one was Mandriva specific - I'm fairly sure it was in this magazine. The other was something like 'Linux Magazine' or 'Linux Digest'.) and in one of these magazines they had a failry positive review of a command line audio player. It was very feature rich and had just about everything you expect out of a GUI player like WinAmp or Xmms. The only other thing that I really remember about it was that it was a 3 character name derived from a 4 character word (e.g. duk instead of duck). I know it's a long shot, and it'd be hard for me to be more vague, but I'm hoping someone might have a good guess on what the name of it was. I've been holding out expecting it to pop up in a google search, but no dice yet. I've found several ones that look similar, but this one had especially caught my eye.

Thanks for any help.

I'm guessing it's Juke, which apt tells me is a curses-based music player. Note that this is different from Juk, which is a KDE music organizer.

No, it's not, but it got me to a page listing Linux audio players (command line players included whcih even wikipedia didn't have). It's called Moc (which I read, myabe incorrectly, like Mock). So, as it would turn out, all my searchers were a mere vowl off. I can't confirm the site as it's blocked here at work (a good indication that it's what I'm looking for). This should be the link to the official site:
http://moc.daper.net/
(I pulled up the page by IP, but it must be set up on a virtual host)

here's the site that listed the players:

lots of good looking players (including all the common GUI ones). Page is worth a look

im having a really good time with the musicplayerdaemon and mpc on the cli, maninly because i cant get through hundreds of obscure dependancies with the gui ones.

Its really worth a look though, once set up you can use a client to start playing music and easily switch between X and the cli without any loss in playback

I'd herd of mpd before, but never looked it over until now. I think I'll have to check it out. If I like it well enough I'll have to do a lot more head-scratching about what hdd should go in what machine.
