CLI mp3 players

Hello. I'm looking for a fast/resource efficient mp3 player to be run under the command line. Preferably it should be ncurses based (or similar). I already know of CMus, and have recently heard of "MOC"; I don't need the overkill of MPD. Does anyone know of any others? (Pref. *still maintained* projects)

I see what you mean with "still being maintained", a lot seem to be abandoned.

Check this link:
http://www.linux.org/apps/all/Multimedia/MP3.html

The site used to be pretty up-to-date.

And of course there is mplayer.

mpd with ncmpc client will give you a low overhead player with an ncurses interface.

edit: oops, just noticed that you don't want mpd "overkill"? - oh, well, just uppin' my post count, I guess....

cheers,
