CLI Client for MSN Messenger

Anybody know of a good CLI client for MSN Messenger?

I tried BitLBee, but I don't fancy connecting to IRC in order to use MSN Messenger.

After trying BitLBee I went ahead and tried TMSNC. TMSNC looked really good and I do like it. The only problem with it is that it is filled with bugs. I need something that is not bugged .

So I need an CLI client for MSN Messenger that isn't buggy and is stand-alone, not an off-shoot of IRC.

Thanks for the sugestion mrcheeks .

How would I get the files from CVS? In their download page they recommend not using the version posted, but to use versions from the CVS. I never used CVS before so I'm clueless. I tried reading the page on their CVS, but the commands I tried were all wrong :S.

usually there are instructions for cvs on the download page. You have to install cvs on your distribution first.

* Login first
Code:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/msnre login
* Download the source code
Code:
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/msnre co msnre

Thanks for the suggestion craigevil, will check that out if msnre doesn't work out.

Thanks mrcheeks . I read those commands, but didn't go through with the whole thing. When I entered the first command it looked like it did nothing so I was confused and stopped, maybe I should of tried entering in the second command before posting.

Thanks . Installing right now .

Help needed again .

A requirement for msnre is ncurses/curses. I have ncurses installed, but the Makefile.PL doesn't recognize this. This always happens to me when I try to install programs that use Makefile.PL for the configuration instead of /configure .

How can I solve this error?
