Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I am experiencing an issue where I cannot install a version of clementine music player on my Linux Mint 17.3 box that is greater than 1.2.3
I believe 1.3.1 came out and with it the new network remote.
The actual error message I am receiving is on my device stating I have an incompatible version of clementine installed on my computer. I could have circumvented this if I disabled auto-update on clementine remote from within my device thus disabling the install of an newer version. Either way, I cannot properly install the newest version from online which is the best option overall.
Did it install or not? I guess not, but I was not there watching over your shoulder. Do you really expect someone to say anything useful based on the information you just provided? Next time please copy and paste the output of commands here and please use code tags.
