claws-mail: e-mails to myself don't appear in INBOX

Hey guys, I recently switched from thunderbird to claws-mail. I have it tracking a gmail account through IMAP (over SSL) and SMTP (over SSL). I can send e-mails to others just fine, and I can receive e-mails from others just fine. But for some reason, if I send an e-mail to myself, it doesn't appear in my INBOX (It does appear in the "[Gmail]/All Mail" folder. I've never had trouble e-mailing myself in Thunderbird, so I'm curious what the cause of this quirk is. Some kind of special claws-mail filtering feature...?

I've used Claws extensively and have not encountered this with a POP3 account.

When I email myself from POP3 to POP3, the email shows in "Sent" and arrives in "Received" (just tested that) so I'm guessing has has something to do with Gmail or with imap or with Gmail's imap.

I'm having the same problem as well. I am using gmail as well. I also can't see e-mails sent from list servers that are supposed to be copies of my posts (which would have my address in the from field).

However, I am using 3.8.1 instead of the newest (Debian Wheezy) so maybe this is a problem that has been fixed.
