Angry Citrix client install...grrrr

Please help! I have been trying for days to get the Citrix client to install. I'm a newbie that has worked with every other operating system, and I'm having a hard time understanding how this install routine works.

I have downloaded successfully the new client, saved it under root/tmp, installed to the default of /usr/lib/ICAClient and I have tried a number of times and methods to run what you have told others here to try, and what the PDF file says from the website.
But, the "wfcmgr" file simply says "command not found" and if I type Wfcmgr (with a capital W), I get "Permission Denied"

Has anyone else had this type of problem? Do I need to scratch and start all over? Am I missing a crucial step here? Thanks for all the help.
