cisco vpn client 4.6 on FC3 unknown symbol in module

I am trying to install the vpnclient-linux-
version of the cisco vpn client on fedora core 3 running kernel version 2.6.10-1.766_FC3
But I am getting the following symbol errors upon installation

Warning: could not find /usr/src/vpnclient/ for /usr/src/vpnclient/
*** Warning: "put_user_size" [/usr/src/vpnclient/cisco_ipsec.ko] undefined!
*** Warning: "get_user_size" [/usr/src/vpnclient/cisco_ipsec.ko] undefined!

Has anyone seen this problem or been able to resolve it?

cisco vpn solution 2.6.9

I reinstalled FC3 that came with a 2.6.9 kernel. I did not do the updates to the 2.6.10 kernel, and the vpn installed perfect and the first connection attempt was flawless
