Question cisco router emulator?

Hi all,

Just a quick question:

Does anyone know of a cisco router emulator for Linux? I'm doing a CCNA and I have a couple of Windows programmes (router_eSIM_v11 and SemSim) and I know I could run them with Wine or XP/VMWare, but I would like to find a native Linux 'emulator' if possible?

Anyone got any ideas?

Skip downloading anything. These guys are pretty cool. They allow you to login to real routers and muck around them.

Give it a shot.

Cool! Thanks.

That looks interesting and I'll certainly give it a try later.

Any other thoughts on a native Linux Cisco router emulator? Or would I be better fiddling around with freesco in VMWare?

Cheers all.
