Cinelerra: Just how difficult is it?

the dv editing program that i've heard mentioned most is cinelerra. however, i've also heard that it is difficult to use, they're site even brags about it. i'm by no means a computer whiz, but i am willing to spend some time w/ the program. should i learn cinelerra or is it not worth the time?

No, its great, and its really not that hard to use. Its not any harder than other editors at least.

They brag about the hefty system requirements, but it will run fine on a "mortal" machine.
