cinelerra install problem

I am trying to install cinelerra to view and edit video from my sony hc20 minidv camera. I am left with cinelerra because I am unable to get kino installed. I am able to transfer video with dvgrab but that is as far as I can get. When I install the cinelerra rpm with and try to run cinlerra i get the following error:

cinelerra: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

but i have the following installed:

Any suggestions? Thanks

Looks like your version of the C libraries is newer than it's expecting. You can try fooling it into using the newer version but it might not work.

To do this create a symlink from your file called
ln -s /usr/lib/ /usr/lib/
It might not work if the libraries have changed considerably.
