Angry CIisco VPN and sendmail


Hello all,


I really need some help here. I'm a newbee usind linux actually been running redhat 9 for about a week now. I usually run solaris 8.

First problem is that i'm unable to connect to my work cisco vpn server.
I've installed client 4.0 and configured my .pcf file correctly. Here is my output when I run "vpnclient connect sample"

Reason: Failed to establish a VPN connection.
There are no new notification messages at this time.

I"ve shutdown my firewall, so i don't what else could be causing this??


Second problem is I can't send email's with the "mail" command? This is the error message i'm getting:

I'm behind a 4port linksys router. I can vpn from my windows box.
