Chrom(e|ium) addons, are they updated automatically?

Hi. I can't quite understand their behaviour (although I am prone to think it's done automatically). Does Chrom(e|ium) always check for new versions of addons automatically and updates them automatically in case of new version?

Yes, you should never have to manually intervene with the addons.

Watching those addons for some time I can see that they are updated automatically but not too often. Not right after the update is available, which you can achieve by updating them manually. It's just for those who finds this thread. Don't rely on automatics here.

You can manually tell Chrom(ium) to look for/install updates to the add-ons also, just like you can do with Firefox (just not as simple).
