Choosing monitor in fedora install-how?
I need to be able to stop Fedora from selecting a monitor during the install, it detects the correct model NEC but the driver does not work. The monitor (NEC CS500)gets put into the suspend state and will not wake up. I have installed Red Hat 9 and can choose the generic monitor with it which works great.
Can someone tell me how to choose a generic monitor during the Fedora install?
What I have tried:
Search for many hours on the web, likely misguided and unsuccessful
Re-downloaded the install iso's
verified that Red Hat 9 will do the same thing with detected driver
run through more than 10 installs trying different guesses...
