checking php.ini version ?

Not PHP version... I think everybody already knows how to check that.

But my php.ini file version ?

when I run Yum Update ... It doesn't seem to overwrite my current php.ini file.. which I guess is a good thing of sorts.

But how to tell my current php.ini revision version ? Or maybe there isn't a way ? I think my current php.ini is a couple years old..

if php was installed by yum, then rpm -qf /path/to/php.ini should tell you which php package this file belongs to. not sure if this is what you need though.....

but theres no way to check on the actual file itself ? That seems pretty silly. Even with vBulletin , they have their current revision version on every one of their /includes/config.php files.
