What distro are you using? There should be a way to add additional mirrors to the package manager (i.e. to get access to a wider variety of software).

Not sure for SUSE (I'm a Debian user)...try googling "SUSE package mirrors" or "SUSE package repositories." Novell's website may contain a list of them you can add to YaST. Once you locate some, it should be easy to add them to YaST. Good luck.
