Question check a knoppix CD?


Hi, is there a way to check a knoppix CD for errors?? I have being trying to run it but when it tries to startx the screen goes black like when you turn off the PC and live the monitor on.

At the opening screen knoppix testcd if it passes then knoppix noddc noapm you may want to go to http://www.knoppix.net/forum/ and check for other cheat codes you can use they are in the docs section link at the top of the screen.

Thanks, but for some reason the CD works in an old pentium II laptop that I have. This is strange. My desktop has 256RAM and the laptop only 128RAM. And it reads the NTFS from win2000, I did not know it could do so. Would I be able to move some files from Win2000 to my Linux partition using knoppix??
