CHBG howto

Dear all.

Is anybody using chbg (http://www.idata.sk/~ondrej/chbg/) ?

It has features to manage list of background images and shows it in order/random. The README said, It can also remember the last background image, then shows it again between session.

So I try to put this on my .xsession.

chbg -scenario ~/.scenario -once -remember

However, It did not work. It always sows the first image in the list, not the last one.

Please tell me how to do it right.

All the documentation seems to be in the package, and I'm not that interested in it, so all I can give you is a guess.

The first thought that comes to mind is that "once". That seems to me to say "Display one picture, then stop." Combine that with "remember", which suggests "show whatever picture you were showing when you shut down" and you're going to get the same picture over and over.

Change the "once" for some periodic things (once every 10 minutes, once an hour, once a minute, whatever suits you) and see how that works.

Good luck,

CHL
