Changing username/passwd in Thunderbird

I set up Mozilla Thunderbird and I must have got my outgoing username and passwd wrong and I need to change it. I see no option to change them, I see where I can change the outgoing server but not the username/passwd combo. Can someone tell me where this setting is? I'm sure I'm looking right at it...
Thanks.

tools
options
advanced
saved passwords
view saved passwords

then remove the passwords. you should be prompted in the next session of thunderbird for a password

if your username is wrong, it may be easier to delete the profile and then create a new one with the right username

I tried that and I re-entered the passwd but am still having an issue so I deleted the profile and tried again, no luck. I then uninstalled Tbird and re-installed it but when I restarted I saw that all of my old accounts and settings were still there so that accomplished nothing. The error message that I am getting is this:

Code:
An error occured while sending mail. The server responded: 5.7.1 Authentication is required to send mail as <vzep8ua@verizon.net> Please verify that your email address is correct in your mail preferences and try again.
I have no idea what the mentioned email address is. When I boot into Windows and try to send email from my account in Tbird it sends, it just won't send from Linux so I have a setting wrong and I can't find way to change it. Like I said, I even removed Tbird and reinstalled it but all of my email accounts (and settings) stay behind. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks again.
