Changing System Time

I have two boxes here, one running Suse 9.1, the other running Debian 3, and one box says it's 3AM right now, (current PST time is 9:13AM) and the other says it is 5PM. How do I go about changing the time?

Thanks,

Jonathan

tried that, told me absolutely nothing. I'm not a programmer, sysadmin, or linux geek by any stretch of the imagination, just wondering how someone else had done it. I'd like to sync the times with an NTP server, but again, no clue at all what in blazes I'm doing here.

do you have ntpd installed? here's some fun reading: http://www.linuxdevcenter.com/pub/a/...01/02/ntp.html

I just got ntpd installed, and now I'm looking for a man page or a website that can help me figure out how to use it. Which files do I need to configure, is there a list of ntp servers, how do I point my windows boxes at it for their sync-ing, how do sync another linux box off of it? These are just some of the questions I have, well, the major ones at least.
Thanks
