Changing Root Email


I have been getting daily updates on my servers from the Cron task and such because I must have set my root user accounts email address to my own... I can't remember where to change this setting can anyone help me out (I don't want to be getting these emails)

I believe it depends on what mail transfer agent you use. I use exim and I use the /etc/aliases
file.

Here are the first few lines from mine:
Code:
postmaster: root
root: hw

daemon: root
bin: root
sys: root
...and it goes on and on and specifies webmaster, abuse, irc, etc.
