Changing CD's in Wine

My first time asking a question on this site.

Here's my problem, I've not used wine much to speak of. I'm using PC-BSD with KDE, I have wine installed and I'm trying to install a program that has more than one cd. When the program asks for the second cd I can't seem to get it to release or eject the 1st cd so as to insert the 2nd.

Alt+Tab will let me get to my Desktop but I can't get Dolpin to eject the cd as it is busy.

I have tried to CTRL+Alt+F1 logged in as root and tried to umount /dev/cd1but I get the same error message.

Searching google.com/linux and other forum have not given any usable answers, which is why I am post this.

Any Ideas?

2 ways
In a terminal use
Quote:
wine eject
Or sometimes a better way that maintains correct path for remaining disks.

Ck. in winecfg for drive letter assigned to drive your using (typically D or E
Browse the disk for the setup or installer name

Ex. cd is in drive D with the installer named setup.exe
Code:
wine D:\setup.exe
Then when prompted for next disk just use the eject button on drive ect. (just like in windows

Thank you for the reply, option one will let me eject the CD but I can't get the program to read the second disk to continue with the install.

Option two: I could get the system to read the first disk but when it asked for the second disk it still wouldn't let me open the drive.

I've never had a problem with the second way but I'm using a different distro and gnome.

Have you tried starting with the 2nd way and then eject in the konsole? (or any other manner kde affords
