Change user to mail user for rsync

Hi,

I'm doing a rsync from a remote server.
I'm rsync'ing mail files that belong to the 'mail' user. For rsync to be able to set the files time correctly I need to be able to login as the mail user.

If I log in as a different user that belongs to the mail group I get 'rsync: failed to set times on ..'

Is there a way to do this?

It seems that this only happens on the directories that already exist? ".Sent/new": Operation not permitted (1)

Thanks!
