how would i go about doing this? i have icons (png files) that i would like to use on my desktop, but the trash can is not like other link files where i can change the icon on the links properties page like Home or something else (like a link i out there myself)
does anyone know how to change both trash can icons (full and empty) for kde 3.3?
right click on the trash can icon on the desktop, then left click on the trash can icon in the dialogue box. You can select one of the other icons the system provides, or click on the 'other icons' radio button and browse to the location of the icons you want to use.
look what i found on linuxquestions.org
go into your trashcan directory and edit: .directory
the directory behavoir is in this document. Check out the Icon= and EmptyIcon= lines. I bet you don have got the EmptyIcon=.
