Change colors in color boxes
 

In GIMP 2.6's "Change Foreground Color" dialog there are boxes (12 as mine is set up) above the cancel/reset/OK buttons into which color from "Current" can be moved.
Is there a way to 1) clear color from all boxes AND/OR
2) selectively change the color in any single box

Hi:

You should be able to choose any color that you want when you click on the foreground box or the background box. When you go to change your foreground color you should have a large window with all of the colors and be able to drag your mouse to any color that you want.

I have never found clear. If clear is an option I have never found it; sorry-
There is an option in "layers" that is 'transparent' if that's what you want--

I'm using GIMP 2.8 so it may be that 2.6 is different.

Wasn't looking for a color "clear" was looking to remove the color from any box selectively. I suppose I could put white into a box but can't figure out how to move the box with the color I want removed into position to get the "white" put into it.

I'll look through the manual tomorrow and see if what you want is possible.

If you can post a screenshot so I can see & understand "move the box with color" a little bit better--

There's no GUI way to do it, as far as I know. The file is ~/.gimp2.6/colorrc

You can remove specific entries by editing the file with your favourite plain text editor

The only thing I found that is even remotely close is "Moving A Selection" (a certain area with color in a box) If that is what you mean.

I read the section 'Color Management' nothing there either. Had it been an option (move the box with color) it most likely would of been in that section-

I'm pretty sure that;Kuranes is right there isn't a GUI for that. If there is a way I wasn't able to find it- Sorry
