cgi error


Dear all

i have some cgi -scripts in cgi-bin directory . but when i am calling these cgi scripts, i get error "Object not found" error 404.
when i see the httpd error log i get the error
script not found or unable to stat: /disk2/xyz, referer: http://xyz.org/home.html

Please guide me

first thing, with strange problems - check permissions.
does the CGI user (nobody?)
have access to the disk/files?

Makesure the script is pointing to perl i.e. #!/usr/bin/perl

and also do chmod a+rx FILENAME

Then try the script
