CFdisk does not see new HD but Fdisk does?
CFdisk does not see new HD but Fdisk does? anyone have any idea why?

It's my experience when the MBR is corrupted, cfdisk will not see HD. The fix is to clean (wipe out) the MBR, but that will mean wiping out your entire HD (including all partitions).

The new hard drive is empty. I partitioned it but it still did not come up in cfdisk, only fdisk.

In order to clean the MBR, did you use the following command?

dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hd* bs=512 count=1; sync

* The HD in question.

No, Do i have to do that? Never did that before and this is a new drive nothing on it.

When I have a bare drive to start with cfdisk usually starts with a "No partitions found. Start a new partition table" (or something like that) message. When you say yes, cfdisk starts and allows you to add partitions.
What are you seeing at start up?
What is the difference between a fdisk -l /dev/hdx and a cfdisk -Ps /dev/hdx?

It show the drive when I do the -Ps option. Under cfdisk help, it does not show the P as a capital it show it as lower case. Thanks.
