CetnOS 5.1, JRE 6 and Firefox 3.0.4 Plugin Directory

I am using CentOS 5.1,JRE 6 and am trying to create a symbolic link to the firefox plugin directory like the Sun Microsystem website says to do. The problem is that when I do a search like firefox version 3.0.4 it does not have a plugin directory for me to create a symbolic link to. I certainly do have plugins because the browsers says so. So my question is where does Firefox version 3.0.4 keep it plugin directory? Or is there another way around this?

I'm using CentOS 5.2, and this is what I found:

Code:
$ pwd
/home/<user_name>/.mozilla/firefox
$ ls
88abrgej.default  pluginreg.dat  profiles.ini
$ cat pluginreg.dat
Generated File. Do not edit.

I'm assuming your symbolic link should point to:

/home/<user_name_here>/.mozilla/firefox

You might try that as that is where the pluginreg.dat file is located.

Actually I figured it out. You would think that logically they would put in the same directory as the libraries but in this case they put in under /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins and not in the same directory /usr/lib/firefox. Why not consolidate? thanks anyways
