Centos6 Application icons missing on menus

Hey Guys,

just installed a brand new C6 system with Minimal Desktop option.
(Default Gnome desktop).

The weird thing is that all the apps I've installed since (via yum) appear on the menus ok, but the associated icons for each entry are missing.
Eg Thunderbird, KeepassX, Pidgin etc.

Anyone got the soln?

Code:
su -
yum groupinstall "General Purpose Desktop"

Thx johnVV; actually I installed the Desktop Platform Dev group (iirc) and that fixed it.
I might check those pkgs anyway tomorrow just for fun.
