Centos running samba and xen vm
Hoping someone else has tried what I am attempting to do and can enlighten me a bit as to what might be the problem I am having.

Basically in a nutshell, I have a new CentOS 5.3 box I built with a 2TB raid 8 cpu cores and 16gig ram. This box runs a postfix mail server, apache webserver and samba server for 2 people which is all working great. The problem however has to do with a vm running windows XP I created using the Xen virtual manager. I want this vm to be able to access samba shares from the previously mentioned samba server running on the same server but not under the virtual machine umbrella.

I can ping the main server but cannot seem to access any samba shares at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind... seems I was being stupid and not opening up firewall rules to allow virtual network/ports to talk.
