cedega game install reports wrong disk space

Hi folks!

I just got Cedega 4.4.1 and Point2Play 2.0.3 installed on Fedora 4 and I'm trying to install Dungeon Siege 2.
Everything seems to work just fine, except that the game installer thinks I only have 1.9gb of free drive space. I actually have over 60gb.

I've been all over the net trying to figure this out, and I've gotten nowhere.
(yes, i did RTFM)
If anyone out there can help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

ok, I've managed to find info that might point to somthing to do with disk quotas....but according to the command output I've seen, I don't have any quotas active.

this is really beginning to tick me off. am I doomed to be stuck using Microcrap Winblows?

Please, somebody save me from returning back to hell.

Help me also !

Hi you,

I'm in front of the same problem. Either use that unusable operating system or get DS II to run under Linux somewho. I already tried CXoffice but this one isn't really intended for game-play.

I also tried to start the already installed DS II directly from the mounted VFAT partition (i took care not to install it on NTFS - so I can use it under linux eventually if needed). But then I always get a cedega error complaining about some "--used-dos-cwd" not found.

I tried to copy it over to the Linux FS. After this I was able to start the game but nothing came up except a black screen which stood there for about 15 minutes until I interupted it.

So are there any chances to get Dungeon Siege II (2) to run under Linux.

greets,
Bernhard
