cdrecord 2.10a27 & K3b
Well I've been burning data CDs easily for quite some time. Now after a while I decided to burn an audio cd. Problem is, everytime I burn it, it stalls on track 4 and the hard disk goes crazy and I pretty much freeze up and I have to reboot and trash another CD.
Anyone know why this is happening? |
have you tried to burn another list?

Yup

Memory leaks
I had the same problem with cdrecord on the latest kernel of Fedora (Linux version 2.6.8-1.521). I watched the system monitor, and cdrecord (?) appears to consume as much memory as the total of all tracks (about 510 Mb). After the second CD my 1 Gb machine started to have the same problems you subscribed.
I am not sure whether this is a kernel problem or a cdrecord problem. Anyone any idea? . |
did u see the patch for the suse distro on the k3b site ...maybe that will help you.
