cdrecord
I have an iso image read in with dd.
I'm trying to write it to a dvd R+ cdrecord needa support. It needs cdrecord-ProDVD. Anyone know where to get it? |
|
Well, I downloaded it. It is an executable. I put it in /usr/bin. But it doesn't start. I was hoping for an rpm or gz, which would install itself.
Any tips? |
I must be a little backwards and confused. I've been using K3B to burn DVDR+ using "dd" to build the iso and have had no problems. What kind of errors are you getting? I downloaded that Pro-DVD but haven't used it.

I get cdrecord needs support contact author to get cdrecord-ProDVD. I got that from Berlios, but it is an executable, which doens't do anything. It is a long name, but ends in .gnu. I was hoping for an rpm or gz that would install itself along with cdrecord.
I did a run with the option -dummy, and got no errors. It is either a driver problem, or cdrecord needs the extra support from ProDVD |
