CDEMU: [errno6] No such device or address

Hallo,
sorry for not posting so long,

but now I've got another question:

I've installed CDEMU 0.6 beta with make & make install everything went good,
it has created 8 block devices in /dev/cdemu

but when trying to mount a bin/cue image

Code:
Dellin:~ # cdemu 0 /usr/GENERALSZH2.cue
I get the following error:

Code:
[Errno 6] No such device or address: '/dev/cdemu/0'
although I HAVE created (not me, the script) the device /dev/cdemu/0
What's wrong?

I have having the same problem, I think it may have something to do with the module not getting loaded correctly. However I am no linux expert and have only been running linux for a couple months now, still trying to learn. Any pointers on how to check/install the module cdemu?
In the install instructions it says to modprobe cdemu, which should result in no output. However I do get output: "FATAL: Module cdemu not found." not sure if this is correct, however I do not think it is.
Any help is greatly appreciated

upon more searching, i was able to find this:

$ depmod -a
$ modprobe cdemu
---this returned the proper result, nothing
via
Code:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?s=&threadid=208038&highlight=cdemu
One more problem:
Code:
[root@swanker cdemu-0.6_beta]# mount /dev/cdemu/0 /mnt/iso/
/dev/cdemu/0: Invalid argument
mount: block device /dev/cdemu/0 is write-protected, mounting read-only
/dev/cdemu/0: Invalid argument
mount: /dev/cdemu/0: can't read superblock
I am still researching this problem, but I figured I would update you on my progress

I've downgraded to 0.5.3, and everything worked well
but it supports only linux 2.4, so it won't help you I think, because FC2 has 2.6
I think there's something wrong with the module,
I don't know how to help you, when I load the module cdemu 0.6, modprobe returns nothing as well.

I think you'd run depmod only if you get unresolved symbols when running modprobe. So running depmod doesn't help.
