Cddb look up not working with K3b on LXDE

I have recently changed to using LXDE on my desktops from KDE.
One application i have wanted to use again is K3b.
I have installed via the Debian repo's as normal.
When i come to rip a cd i get an error message saying:

Quote:
k3b found multiple inexact CDDB entries.
Please select one.
1- (|_|)
And that's it.
No choice of artist or album.
I have checked that Cddb look ups are enabled in k3b settings.
It's currently set to look up freedb2.org on port 80.
Cddb look ups worked just fine under KDE,just not after reinstalling under LXDE.
Also i can access Cddb with Ripperx, just not k3b.
What am i missing?
Thanks for reading.
