CD > MP3 conversion

I will be travelling so I would like to reduce all of my albums to MP3s and then transfer these to MP3 CD. What is an easy way to convert a lot of CDs into 320kbps MP3 files? At this rate, I think I can hold 5 CDs on 1 MP3 CD. I did some Google searches, but most linked to out-of-date resources.

Use GRip to rip them, you'll need lame installed to encode them to mp3. Check out GRip.

Then use cdrecord or K3B or whatever burning app you use and burn them to cd.

Why 320kbps? I have all mine in 192 which is ample for the human ear at least.

RipperX is a good application to rip CDs with. You might need to install Lame as well.
