CD/DVD burning software

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Linux and I recently started using Ubuntu. I was wondering if there is a software for Linux similar to Roxio Easy CD Creator. If so, can you provide me with a link, and if there are multiple softwares, which one is best and most user friendly? Thanks.

As long as you're ok with using kde applications on gnome (which is default for ubuntu, try using kubuntu for kde), you could use k3b...

For gnome, there are a number availible, but I hear Nautilus cd burner is ok.
It should already be there on your gnome desktop, but i don't really know as I don't use gnome, or ubuntu for that matter.

Next time, google is your friend:
http://www.google.com/search?q=gnome+cd+burn

Or, you could still go and learn to do it the old-fashioned way, using commandline :D.

Cheers!

Thank you for the detailed advise. I will look into k3b and Nautilus.

Learning commandline is a priority for me, these will hold me over till then.
