I am a newbie to linux and am looking for soem good cd burning software, i need something that supports mp3 to audio cd authoring and perferably has a gui although that is not a necesity.
I feel like i've said this more than once (and I have) and it might not be that helpful (I don't have a burner so...), check out freshmeat.net and search for CD burning or writing.. something along those lines and if it's GUI they will probably have a screen shot of the app.
cdrecord is most likely already installed on your system if your using Mandrake..
If you want a GUI interface you can check out either eroaster or maybe Xcdroast which is probably the most popular, they are both front end GUI's to cdrecord.
