cd burner for xfce/slack install

I currently have Slackware 10.2 with NO KDE installed. I tried KDE and since I used Xfce all the time I didn't install it after the last time I goofed my system (trying to learn stuff). So, I want a burner for data/music/photos only.. Got the source for K3B but dont have all the stuff needed to build it. I feel sure someone can help me out.

you can load KDE, you know. you mount the 2nd CD, go into the kde directory and say "installpkg _PACKAGE_NAME_.tgz" as root.
