Thumbs up CardReader problem

Hi:
I find that after I take the compact flash card from my card reader(card reader still connect to the usb port of laptop), all the information in /dev still same. I mean it still has sdb, sdb1, etc. I hope all these drives will go away since compact flash card is not present, only cardreader present.

it may disappear after a period of time but after reboot. Normal for the generic scsi interface that what USB uses to interface with the kernel. You can manully remove them if a problem happens with the echo command. Check this link on that.

Or running this script will do the add and remove.
