capturing streaming audio

Will realplayer, xmms, or any of the players capture streaming audio to disk?

Mplayer will as well..
Something like this.

mplayer -playlist -ao pcm:file=mymusic.wav -vc dummy -vo null

Read the `mplayer --help' for details.. Theres a bunch of options.
