Hello all!
I am currently trying to use
Cantor on Linux Mint 17 KDE, and it is not rendering LaTeX code at all, even though there is the option for it. I have installed
texlive and
texlive-base, in case you're wondering.
Here is the full terminal output of running Cantor in a terminal:
Code:
Object::disconnect: Unexpected null parameter
cantor(29931)/kdeui (kdelibs): Attempt to use QAction "" with KXMLGUIFactory!
Bus::open: Can not get ibus-daemon's address.
IBusInputContext::createInputContext: no connection to ibus-daemon

/usr/bin/dvips: DVI file can't be opened: /tmp/kde-ACCOUNT/cantor/j29931.dvi: No such file or directory
So far, what I have been able to gather from the above message is that Cantor is creating the LaTeX files (.tex), but not compiling them into dvi files, as I gather from the last line. It does work, however, on a computer running Ubuntu GNOME 14.04.1 without problems, even though Cantor is a KDE application.
Could you people please lend me a hand in this?
Thanks in advance!
