cant send mail to root

This is driving me crazy.

No matter what I seem to do, I keep getting the same problem. I tried editing the /etc/mail/access file. between OK and RELAY, and it didn't seem to make any difference. ( yes i rebuild the access.db file after editing)

Runnind sendmail on RHEL3 (up2date)
note: mydomain.tld is in place of a valid domain.

/etc/mail/access
Code:
localhost OK

web3 OK
web3.mydomain.tld OK

Holy crap. I can't believe this.. what a waste of my precious time.

It turned out to be a tcpwrapper problem. I edited my hosts.allow file and everything worked.
