Cant find apache index.html

Ever since I installed SuSE, whenever I open netscape it shows http://localhost/ in the address bar, and has a SuSE page with documentation about SuSE and Apache. Now that I am setting up my server, I would like to remove that page and put in my homepage. However: I cant find the file! I looked in the apache 'Document Root' dir mentioned in http.conf, but all it contained was those "If you can read this then that means apache has been installed correctly" pages. When I change the Document Root, I still get the same homepage. How can I replace this with my website?

Thank you,
LinuxBlackBox

Just FYI, you don't need to restart the computer to restart services in Linux. You can actually just restart apache or any other service. That's the beauty of Linux, unlike some aspects or downfalls of Windows to having to restart just to get services going, etc.

I had the very same problem...it was very painful to look at the localhost page and just not know where it is. I found "noindex.html" though, and replaced it, now it doesn't work. Heh. Oh well, I was meaning to learn how to uninstall RPMs anyway.
