cant find a driver for my printer

I have a lexmark 4300 all in one printer and a cannon S750 bubble jet printer, I can not find drivers for either. Is there a site besides driverguide that has drivers for second and third generation printers.
I am running kubuntu 6.06. and the drivers that are built in come close but not close enough.

Thanks

Have you tried Cups? Or do you mean that Cups doesn't have the drivers?

try http://www.linuxprinting.org for a list of supported printers, and their associated drivers.

Having taken a quick look myself, it seems your printers might not be supported. Sorry :(

Lexmark does not appear to offer Linux drivers, but they do have this:
http://www.lexmark.com/lexmark/seque...5_0_en,00.html

Best Linux printer support is from HP--some from Epson---+ a few others

When shopping for printers, I now ask if Linux is supported---ocassionally I get intelligent answers...;)
