can't convert mp3 to ogg

Hi,

I installed mp32ogg with the intention of using it to convert some mp3's to ogg format. However, whenever I try it it tells me it was successful, and produces an ogg file 8kb in size that clearly isn't an ogg. Can someone tell me what could be going wrong here? Thanks.

Do you have oggenc installed?

I'm pretty sure everything it needs is there because I emerged it from portage. vorbis-tools is definitely installed, along with libogg etc.

Use dir2ogg instead.
